Share Identification Rules
The process by which the Inland Revenue identify which shares have been sold out of a shareholding in a company when only part of the shareholding has been sold. It is based on the dates of purchase of the shares relative to the date of sale. Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein financial glossary
